ASPAMET mixers are used in sectors such as environmental protection, including wastewater treatment plants, agriculture, the food industry, the chemical industry, power generation and others. As a manufacturer and integrator of environmental technologies, we offer a complete range of mixers, including the equipment itself as well as dedicated support structures, davit cranes and control systems.

The ASPAMET offer has been developed for municipal and industrial facilities, with an emphasis on reliability, durability and the ability to precisely adapt the solution to a specific technological application.     Mixer systems – more than a device

    A mixer is not a standalone product, but part of a larger system. That is why the ASPAMET offer includes a complete system consisting of:

    submersible mixers,
    pumping mixers, also referred to as recirculation pumps,
    vertical mixers,
    support structures,
    installation davit cranes,
    control and protection systems.

    This approach ensures full compatibility of all components and simplifies installation, operation and servicing.

    As a manufacturer of mixers, support structures, davit cranes and control systems, we can configure the entire system according to the tank geometry, process requirements and the expected level of monitoring and protection.

    Types of ASPAMET mixers

    Submersible mixers

    ASPAMET submersible mixers are designed for intensive and continuous mixing of the medium in tanks and biological reactors. Depending on the application requirements, two main series are available:

    AS series – direct drive

    Mixers with the motor mounted directly on the propeller shaft. Their simple design, high efficiency and minimal number of mechanical components make them suitable for a wide range of applications.

    AR series – gear-driven

    Mixers equipped with a gearbox, enabling higher axial thrust to be generated at lower propeller speeds. They are used where intensive mixing of large volumes or higher-density media is required.

    Pumping mixers / recirculation pumps

    ASPAMET pumping mixers are structurally based on submersible mixers. They are used wherever large volumes of liquid need to be transferred efficiently at low pumping heads. They are used primarily in activated sludge recirculation systems. Available series:

    PAS – direct drive
    PAR – gear-driven

    Thanks to pipeline installation, high capacity and robust construction, PAS and PAR mixers provide an effective solution wherever reliable recirculation of large volumes of medium at low pumping heads is essential.

    Vertical mixers

    Vertical mixers are used in:

    the chemical industry,
    the food industry,
    wastewater treatment plants,
    agriculture,
    biogas plants,
    water treatment plants.

    They are used wherever submersible mixers cannot be applied due to tank geometry, liquid aggressiveness or other technological requirements.

    System components

    Support structures and davit cranes

    ASPAMET designs and manufactures dedicated support structures adapted to the specific mixer type and tank geometry. These solutions enable:

    safe installation and removal of equipment,
    adjustment of the mixer position,
    convenient servicing.

    The structures can be manufactured in various material and installation variants, including both fixed and rotating versions. This makes it easier to adapt the installation and handling method to the conditions of a specific tank and the work organisation at the facility.

    Control systems

    ASPAMET also offers mixer control systems enabling:

    continuous or variable operation,
    integration with supervisory systems,
    monitoring of leakage sensors and seal integrity,
    monitoring of motor winding temperature,
    protection of equipment against abnormal operating conditions.

    As a result, the control system supports not only the ongoing operation of the mixer, but also improves operational safety and enables a rapid response to alarm conditions.

    Applications of ASPAMET mixers

    Solutions for mixing, homogenisation and forced liquid circulation – selected according to tank geometry and process requirements

    ASPAMET mixers are used, among others, in:

    biological reactors at wastewater treatment plants,
    wastewater equalisation tanks,
    septage receiving stations,
    pumping station chambers,
    retention tanks,
    agricultural slurry tanks,
    biogas plants.

    Depending on the tank function, facility geometry and medium characteristics, we use both mixers for intensive mixing in small chambers and systems with challenging hydraulics, as well as pumping solutions designed to transfer large volumes of liquid at low pumping heads.

    This allows the operating mode of the equipment to be matched to the specific process — from homogenisation and prevention of sediment deposition to forced, controlled flow of the medium within the installation.

    How we select mixers

    Selection based on process requirements, tank geometry and actual operating conditions

    ASPAMET mixer selection is based on an analysis of:

    technological function, such as mixing, recirculation or homogenisation,
    tank volume and geometry,
    medium characteristics,
    required mixing intensity,
    installation and operating conditions.

    In practice, we also analyse the installation method and positioning of the mixer, the expected hydraulic effect and the interaction between the equipment, tank geometry and medium properties.

    As a result, selection does not end with choosing a catalogue model, but leads to a solution that ensures effective mixing, stable system operation and reasonable operating costs.
